Ian (1/25/10) relaxing in a boppy chair (we gave up on placing them in the correct color for gender). They were spoiled in the nicu sleeping in a crib that inclines with faux sheepskin and laying on their side and tummys....so they were having no part of sleeping flat back on a cold firm mattress. They like our arms even better than the boppies...

Zoe (1/17/10) in the boppy chair

Ian (1/13/10)

Richard's attempt to get them to pose for a christmas photo...the models weren't cooperating

totally unaware of each other

Ian came home on 1/8/10 and Zoe on 1/9/10. Wow...we are tired.
One night last week they both only woke up to feed (every 3 hours) and went back to sleep relatively quickly...that was the best night so far (6 hours sleep total!)
We love having them home and would like everyone to visit, but due to their weak immune systems from being preemies we were advised no visitors besides caregivers for another month and a half. This also means we can't take them places as well....especially to see families with other children (the ultimate germ reservoirs)...sorry.
Richard still gets dressed everyday...not wearing a bathrobe and watching the soaps yet...so he's not fully transformed into the house husband.
We just brought Zoe to have an eye exam today and things went well, but it is an all day event practically. Thankfully no strangers tried to touch them on the elevator...car seat shades give the non verbal back-off.
They have started to give us smiles...very cute. Hopefully we'll catch one in a photo soon.
