Ian (12/17/09) a few days with a nasal cannula on room air...he got a uti and had feeding intolerance and started having frequent episodes of apnea, bradycardia and desats (not breathing, heart rate dropping and oxygen levels dropping) but he got a few days of antibiotics and started back up with his feeds without problems afterwards

Zoe (12/17/09) showing off at full gavage feeds. They started her with milk fortifier, vitamins and iron and then she started having emesis (small amounts during feeds). They cut back on her feeding volume then worked her back up and stopped the fortifier. She still has small emesis occasionally...looks like reflux because she makes grimaces (faces) as her feeding is close to finishing...poor little munchkin.

Ian (12/11/09) yawning with his hand randomly looking like he is trying to be polite

Zoe (12/11/09) hanging out...happy with her PICC...she and Ian were getting 2-4 PIVs/day...little wigglers

Ian (12/9/09) happy with his hand in his mouth...he always has his hands in his face...usually pulling out his feeding tube.
Kerry - the babies are beautiful. Stay strong, this was always so stressful to watch families go through. I can't imagine living it. Your updates are awesome - you have a whole lot of people thinking/worrying about you guys. Congratulations.
